Which CO2 bottle do I need?
Permanent boost
We recommend using a 6 kg gas bottle. However, you could also use 2, 5, 8, 10, or 20 kg if you prefer.
Boost up to 3 days
We recommend using a 425 g sparkling water cylinder (with screw cap): for weekends, periods of high mosquito activity, emergencies or to easily try out using CO2 with your trap!
Where can I get the CO2 bottles?
The gas bottles are not included in the contents.
The gas bottles can be acquired or rented at drink retailers or bottle depots for a deposit. A door-to-door delivery service may also be available in some locations.

How long does a gas bottle last?
How often you need to change the gas bottle depends on:
- what size you use and
- which time frames you have set in the MyBiogents APP for the CO2 release
Recommendation for the handling of gas bottles:
No additional emission of CO2
The CO2 in gas bottles is not explicitly produced to be bottled but is a recovered by-product from other industrial processes.
Therefore, the use of CO2 from gas bottles as a mosquito attractant does not represent an additional CO2 contribution to the planet, but is merely a delayed diffusion of CO2 as industrial waste.
