Biogents mosquito traps impress with their high efficiency and well-designed functionality. Without CO₂, they are particularly effective against tiger mosquitoes, while with CO₂ they reliably reduce a broad spectrum of mosquitoes. However, proper placement of the trap and a little patience are crucial: a noticeable reduction in the mosquito population only becomes apparent after a few days. Overall, a highly recommended solution for targeted mosquito control, allowing you to enjoy your garden undisturbed. If you don't yet see the expected results, it's worth contacting their very friendly customer support. They are real people who will assess your individual situation and provide assistance. I highly recommend Biogents traps!

Biogents provided us with a very effective mosquito trap. In the south of France, mosquitoes are a daily nuisance. Once the trap is installed, their presence is tolerable. Replacing the attractant packs for the trap each year is just a formality. I highly recommend it.

Excellent Biogents trap with CO2 injection for hunting mosquitoes (bites). A shelter is necessary here to protect the trap from falling pine needles (not necessary in other environments).

I've had the mosquito trap with the CO2 canister for a year now. I hardly ever use the CO2. This year, with the mosquitoes being so numerous, I filled about a third of the bag in just 15 days. (Photo from last year.) They look good enough to eat, for those who like insects. Location is very important to me; it should be in the shade under a flowerbed.

What isn't said enough to the customer is that it only works well with the CO2 canister, which is heavy, expensive, and needs to be changed every 3 weeks. The product alone is not enough.

Boosts your trap’s attractiveness for all mosquito species:

House mosquitoes

House mosquitoes lay up to 350 eggs in rain barrels, abandoned watering cans and buckets, garden ponds or puddles. They set out in search of blood meals especially from dusk till dawn and are particularly troublesome then.

Floodwater mosquitoes

Floodwater mosquitoes usually occur in very large swarms and can be active day and night. They lay their eggs in regions that are flooded. After floods, masses of larvae can hatch almost simultaneously.

Tiger mosquitoes

Unlike most other mosquitoes, tiger mosquitoes are day biters. They are small, black and white striped as well as unusually aggressive. Female tiger mosquitoes normally lay their eggs in natural or artificial containers filled with water (e.g., water residues in flower vases), no matter how small they are, making the Asian tiger mosquito perfectly adapted to the urban environment.
