* Mosquito species: The AERO TRAP, like the BG-Mosquitaire, can also catch other mosquito species with additional CO2. The BG-GAT is specifically designed for tiger mosquitoes and cannot be extended with additional attractants for other mosquito species.
Combining both traps
The AERO TRAP and BG-GAT act at different points in the behaviour of the tiger mosquito. The AERO TRAP catches mosquitoes searching for a blood meal, while the BG-GAT catches mosquitoes searching for a suitable egg-laying site. In the case of a tiger mosquito infestation, it is therefore most effective to combine both types of trap.
Eliminating breeding sites in the garden
Traps alone should not be the only measure against tiger mosquitoes. To curb mosquito reproduction as effectively as possible, potential breeding sites in the garden should be regularly cleared or eliminated. The fewer alternative breeding sites available, the fewer opportunities tiger mosquitoes have to lay their eggs outside the BG-GAT.
Breeding sites that cannot be removed or drained can be treated with Biogents HYDRO FILM. The film forms a physical barrier on the water surface and helps prevent the development of mosquito larvae.

Aero Trap funktioniert super - bereits 2 mal entleert und laut Schätzung von KI waren es ca. 300 Tigermücken, somit mind. 300 Mückenstiche weniger. Die Klebefalleb sind nicht so beliebt- hier ist der Erfolg überschaubar, daher 1 Punkt Abzug

BG GAT mitigé mais Aero Trap rien à dire sur l'efficacité. Par contre le prix reste excessif pour du plastique et un ventilateur... J'aurais aimé pouvoir en acheter plusieurs mais à ce prix là ce n'est pas envisageable.

Très étonnant, je ne voulais pas dépenser une somme pareil pour un produit dont je ne connaissais pas réellement l'efficience. Au final très surpris en 1 semaine le piège remplis, bon toujours beaucoup de moustiques mais en sois le piège fonctionne très bien. Les pondeuse feront effet sur le long terme. Au vue du nombre de moustiques collés et tournant autour je pense que l'été prochain sera plus agréable. Il faut être patient les piège comme ça sont efficaces sur le long terme.

Die Falle funktioniert bei uns. Das ist mal das wichtigste. Sie hat die Mückenplage bei uns deutlich reduziert. Etwas unangenehm ist die Lautstärke des Lüfters. Je nachdem, wo die Falle platziert wird, ist es schon deutlich zu hören. Aber lieber so, als diese lästigen Tigermücken.

Die Fallen funktionieren gut gegen Tigermücken, die in unserer Region ein großes Problem sind. Wir haben sowohl die "große" Aerotrap als als auch die wasserbasierte BG-GAT gegen brütende Tigermücken und mit beiden werden regelmäßig Mücken gefangen. Es lohnt sich, unterschiedliche Aufstellungsorte auszuprobieren. Die Mücken sind jetzt nicht weg aus dem Garten und zu Stoßzeiten wird man auch immer noch gestochen. Aber es ist auf jeden Fall angenehmer.
