This is how it works:
- 1Tiger mosquitoes that want to lay their eggs are attracted by water (preferably with organic material in it, e.g. a leaf or some blades of grass)
- 2The mesh provides a barrier between the mosquitoes and the water to prevent them from laying their eggs
- 3Mosquitoes try to escape through the translucent parts of the trap
- 4By touching the specially developed sticky cards, they get stuck and die
- 5Double catch rates thanks to the Reflect-Tech technology

* With the BG-GAT trap, a lower catch rate is normal and to be expected, as it will catch those mosquitoes that are looking for an egg-laying site and not those that want to bite a human for a blood meal. This naturally affects a smaller number of mosquitoes, but they lay a large number of eggs to have offspring (50 to 100 per mosquito).

No additional emission of CO2
The CO2 in gas bottles is not explicitly produced to be bottled but is a recovered by-product from other industrial processes.
Therefore, the use of CO2 from gas bottles as a mosquito attractant does not represent an additional CO2 contribution to the planet, but is merely a delayed diffusion of CO2 as industrial waste.
Lots of mosquitoes caught, still some left to bite us
We've had Aero Traps (plus several water traps) in our garden since May, and they've caught lots of mosquitoes. Unfortunately they haven't caught them all yet - we still get bitten, but maybe the mosquito population will gradually die down to nothing if we're very diligent with the traps. Fingers crossed!

L'ensemble est efficace. J'ai d'abord essayé sans le CO2 et j'avais capturé 5 moustiques en une journée, un peu décevant même si je reconnais que les moustiques avait tendances à être plus attirés par l'aéro trap que par moi. Mais quand j'ai mis en route le CO2, l'effet à été multiplié par 5. En conclusion je recommande ce set.

Mit der Falle sind wir sehr zufrieden. Leichter Aufbau, sehr selbst erklärend. Bei den AERO TRAP P fallen könnten von Anfang an mehr Klebestreifen dabei sein. Im Lieferumfang sind nur 4 Stück dabei. War mir bei der Bestellung nicht klar ersichtlich. Ansonsten kann ich die Falle nur empfehlen.

VerifiedWorks fine, not quite potent enough - and watch out for small birds being caught!
The Aero Trap catches plenty of mosquitos but many seem to ignore it and hover around the rest of the garden/house anyway, so unfortunately our quality of life hasn't improved much - despite the expensive trap. The BG-GAT has a design flaw in that small birds can get caught in it! We had a dead bird in one after it's only been standing around for two days - gruesome experience. I've now added some chicken wire over the traps so that no other animals can fall in anymore. Overall, while the traps seem to work, they don't solve the overall problem unfortunately. For the hefty price, I'm not sure I can recommend them.

VerifiedUn antes y un después pero lástima que no querais hacer factura a empresas extranjeras
Una maravilla, solo podemos tener buenas palabras para el funcionamiento de la maquina. Al no ser un producto barato teniamos muchas dudas ya que no hay suficiente información de terceros ni comentarios de otros usuarios conocidos. No es lo mismo que el vendedor te diga que funciona desde Alemania que te lo diga un proveedor local, un amigo o alguien más cercano... Desde luego estamos haciendo mucha publicidad de la maquina a conocidos que no terminan de creerselo hasta que nos visitan y se dan cuenta que no queda ni un mosquito. En verano ya era un calvario trabajar con calor y el incordio de los mosquitos. No se puede hacer nada contra el calor pero al menos hemos eliminado un problema de la ecuación. Ahora disfrutamos con ropa corta y sin las molestas picaduras. Ya teneis un cliente fiel. Solo puedo quejarme de no haber recibido correctamente la factura que siendo a nombre de una empresa no teneis un apartado para añadir el nif intracomunitario y ahora no quereis modificarlo (poderse se puede, nosotros mismos hacemos facturas rectificativas cuando el cliente lo requiere) No he quedado contentos al 100% por este problema que era vuestra obligacion y no me vale que me digais que el sistema no lo permite.

Produit de qualité, facile à mettre en œuvre, même la partie gaz CO2. Application très intuitive, avec rappel pour ne pas oublier de renouveler les attractifs. Après une semaine sur piège ventilé de très nombreuses prises, de même sur les bandes collantes des pondoirs. Le positionnement des pièges est primordial comme indiqué sur le site.

The equipment is really good. It catches a lot of moskitos. I have been using it without Co2 (because im still waiting for Biogents to ship it - I have ordered it 2 months ago) and tried with a small bottle for 2 days and it was even better! However, the delivery got veryyyyy delayed.
