When do I need CO2 for my mosquito trap?

CO2 is not essential for every application. If you are mainly bitten by tiger mosquitoes, the AERO TRAP can already be very effective without CO2.
If, on the other hand, you also want to control other mosquito species, particularly those that are often active in the evening or at night, or if you want a particularly high trapping effect, a CO2 trap such as the AERO TRAP PLUS is recommended. The right placement is one of the most important factors for trapping success. The trap should be positioned where mosquitoes naturally spend their time: in a shady, damp area sheltered from the wind, close to vegetation and as close to the ground as possible.
With electric suction traps, a distance of at least 5 metres from the terrace or seating area should also be maintained. Even a few metres can make a clear difference, which is why it makes sense to try out different locations.
