Die Aero Trap funktioniert. Allerdings fliegen nicht alle Mücken hinein. Wir werden immer noch gestochen. Die BG-GAT Fallen funktionieren unserer Meinung nach nicht. Auch nach mehreren Wochen kaum eine Mücke drin.
J'ai longtemps hésité d'acquérir le Aero Trap Plus à cause de son prix, mais cette été nous avons été particulièrement envahis par des moustiques et j'ai fini par l'acheter. Et j'en suis très, très contente - même si nous avons encore et toujours des moustiques dans notre jardin, la différence se ressent. Surtout quand on branche le CO2. J'ai sérieusement des remords à diffuser du CO2 comme ça, mais je suis impressionnée de voir nombre de moustiques coincés dans le piège. Pour comparer j'ai acheté un 2eme (un ancien modèle) ; sans le CO2 il attire et attrape aussi des moustiques, mais moins.
Après un achat fin août j’ai mis en fonction l’aero trop plus sans CO2 car la fin de saison arrivait et le résultat est très satisfaisant. Une trentaine de prises par jour. Pour 2027 je mettrai en fonction le CO2 et le résultat sera supérieur.
Introduction: I have bought full set: 2× BG-GAT Reflect tech, 1× Aero Trap boosted with CO2 and a controller. I have already studied different products on the market and compared them one year ago. There are two basic strategies: using different larvicides (biologic, chemical and oil films) and catching blood seeking adult mosquitos. I have already tried UV-light bug zapper in the past and it's not effective against mosquitoes. It mostly catches night moths, midges and others, but no mosquitos. The decision to buy Biogents full set was not impulsive as Initial investment is quite high. First I tried to buy biological larvicide BTI but I couldn’t buy it in my country and delivery from elsewhere was not possible or was out of stock. Then this summer 2026 tiger mosquito invasion was intolerable and I really needed something that works. Biogents full set was rational decision since it prevents breeding (BG-GAT) and cathes blood seeking mosquitoes (Aero Trap). Aero Trap review: After 1 month of testing I can confirm that Aero trap boosted with CO2 really works and it catched around 25 mL of mosquitoes. ~95% Asian tiger (Aedes albopictus) and ~5% house mosquitoes (Culex pipiens). AI estimation is around 5,000 mosquitoes in 1 month or ~170 per day, which sounds very good. But even such large catche didn’t reach 87% reduction of population (max advertised value). My estimation was around 67-75% reduction of population and the reason for lower efficiency could be breeding sites (standing water) in the vicinity of our house (<200 m), but I couldn’t just go to all neighbors and inspect all around their properties. I also noticed that Aero Trap + CO2 boost is quite effective at attracting the insects but is less effective at catching them. Every time I looked around the trap, a few mosquitoes were flying around it quite closely, but they were quite rarely sucked inside. I think putting stronger ventilator inside would improve catching rate but it will also increase the noise. BG-GAT Reflect Tech review: In a set, I got also two BG-GAT traps and was able to catch 16 and 23 mosquitoes in each of them in one month. The average is 20 / month or 0.67 / day per trap . This number itself is much lower than Aero Trap. But we need to consider that BG-GAT catches egg-laying females and each female lays around 100 eggs. In this case, each trap prevented 2,000 new mosquitoes in one month and both together 4,000 / month, which is similar to Aero Trap. Conclusion: I think this Biogents set: Aero trap (+CO2) + two BG-GAT traps is a good combination, as one targets blood seeking and another egg laying females. Although the number of caught insects in BG-GAT looks disappointingly low, we prevented 100× new mosquitoes. With this set, I was able to reduce the mosquito population by around 67-75% (advertised 87% max).
Cost effective compared to other agents. Very easy to setup and maintain.

Very satisfied with the product so far. Easy to use and I have seen a significant reduction in mosquitos even though I have only been using for two weeks.
Sweetscent stinkt und verfliegt schnell. Kein überragender Nutzen. CO2 funktioniert deutlich besser.

Works, good kit. Basically functionality is very similar that the basic kit without AERO.
