Floodwater mosquitoes
Floodwater mosquitoes usually occur in very large swarms and can be active day and night. They lay their eggs in regions that are flooded. After floods, masses of larvae can hatch almost simultaneously.
Tiger mosquitoes
Unlike most other mosquitoes, tiger mosquitoes are day biters. They are small, black and white striped as well as unusually aggressive. Female tiger mosquitoes normally lay their eggs in natural or artificial containers filled with water (e.g., water residues in flower vases), no matter how small they are, making the Asian tiger mosquito perfectly adapted to the urban environment.

Bonjour, Le détendeur connecté de notre kit booster émet toute les 15 seconds un son strident absolument insupportable qui vient se rajouter au son du ventilator de notre BG moustiquaire. Je ne pense pas que ce bruit soit normal, pouvez-vous m'indiquer ce qu'il faut faire pour le supprimer? merci

Franchement, je trouve que the efficiency of this product is related... Je capture des moustiques c'est certain, mais j'en ai toujours trop qui nous pourrissent la vie et nous empêche de profiter de notre terrasse. Je suis obligé d'ajouter des spirales pour les empêcher d'entrer. Bref, je ne suis pas vraiment satisfait.

Le taux de capture est bien plus important qu'avec le piège seul.La différenceest saisissante.Il faut par contre bien l'éloigner de sa terrasse ou de l'endroit que l'on veut protéger. Nous avons pris des 10 kg CO2 bottles que nous avons found chez un revendeur de boissons

VerifiedAugmentation du nombre de prise par rapport à un piégé sans CO2
Augmentation of the number of doses per report to a piegé without CO2. D'après mon experience (1mois d'usage) permet de limiter le volume de piqure mais pas d'éliminer complétement la genène occasionner par nos amis assoiffé de sang. Peut valoir l'investissement si vous êtes allergique pour limiter la quantité de piqure. Pour un usage confort ou pour ne plus avoir du tout de moustiques c'est un peu moins intéressant. Les bouteilles de c02 ont un cout assez élevé à ajouter en plus du prix du dispotif.

The CO2 CONTROL SET upgrades your Biogents suction trap to catch all mosquito species
If you are bothered by mosquitoes mainly in the evening, or if you live near a flood plain, the reason for the nuisance is most probably not the tiger mosquito, but house or floodwater mosquitoes. In this case, it is necessary to add CO2 and the CO2 CONTROL SET to the Biogents suction trap to increase capture rates for these mosquito species.
CO2 is an important attractant for all mosquito species. CO2 and the Biogents SWEETSCENT/ BG-Sweetscent work together as synergists. Together they can greatly increase the number of captured mosquito species and maximize the capture rate (also for tiger mosquitoes). The CO2 CONTROL SET helps disperse the optimum dose of CO2 and the release rate can be adjusted to the local and seasonal mosquito situation. The release rate corresponds to the amount of CO2 a small child releases.

The following examples are just general recommendations. Please adjust to your local mosquito situation:
- Time frame for house mosquitoes:
3:00 – 5:00 and 20:00 – 24:00 - Time frame for flood water mosquitoes:
7:00 – 23:00* - Time frame for tiger mosquitoes:
8:00 – 10:00 and 16:00 - 23:00
* At the beginning of the nuisance, we recommend to start with 24 hours continuous CO2. When the population decreases, the CO2 timer can be switched to the recommended time frames.
