The catch bag and funnel net are to be used with the BG-Mosquitaire +/- CO2 traps. The catch bag is attached to the intake funnel over the funnel net and catches the mosquitoes that are sucked in by the fan.
Damaged catch bags should be replaced. With time, catch bags might become clogged with dust, pollen, or dirt, resulting in a greatly reduced air flow into the trap and a decrease in trapping efficacy. Control catch bags regularly and clean or replace them if necessary.
The funnel net is attached to the intake funnel on the inner side of the catch bag to hinder the mosquitoes from escaping.
