The trap imitates the cues of a human body which are attractive for mosquitoes. For the mosquito, the trap looks just like a human being.

How does it work?

This is how it works:
- The heated surface attracts mosquitoes; the UV light can be on or off to also attract other insects
- The fan generates air currents that (a) imitate convection currents of a human body, (b) disperse artificial human skin scent, and (c) suck the mosquitoes in the trap.
- The dark appearance of the trap attracts mosquitoes.
- The shutter closes when the trap is not in use.
